Our client is a renowned construction main contractor specializing in delivering high-quality projects across various sectors. With a commitment to excellence and innovation, they are dedicated to exceeding client expectations and achieving outstanding results. As they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a talented and experienced Construction Projects / Contracts Manager to join their team.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic Construction Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects within a radius of . The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project lifecycle, from initial planning through to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.

  • Must be confident with dealing with Clients at a senior level.
  • Must have solid experience of JCT and NEC4 contracts and dealing with Client Contract Managers
  • Must have Pharma, Labs and Regulated Environment experience in the Life Sciences sector. Pharma, Animal Health and Human Health ideally.
  • Experienced in full project life cycle from Tenders to Handover including Qualification Life Cycle for Regulated products or facilities. URS/DQ/FAT/SAT/IQ/OQ ready for handover to operations for PQ
  • Staff Position based in the UK, predominantly in the South of England. Base office St Albans but Site Based during Construction, Commissioning and Handover.
  • Design and Construction experience through all disciplines to a competent level.
  • May be required to participate in new Tenders, Client Interviews and be confident in building client relationships at all management levels.
  • Salary between 85 to 100k max. Ideally around the 90k expectation if possible.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all phases of the construction project, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.

Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.

Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and delays, and implement effective mitigation strategies.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and contractual requirements.

Manage project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and reports.

Foster a positive team environment, providing leadership, guidance, and support to project team members.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager, with a track record of successfully delivering construction projects on time and within budget.

Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Knowledge of construction management software and tools is desirable.
