Job Title: Senior Estimator

Location: Hertfordshire

Package: £85,000 - £95,000 plus car allowance and bonus

Skilled Careers are working with a Tier One Main Contractor who due to an incredible amount of work winning they are looking for a Senior Estimator to join the Estimating team across multiple high-profile contracts. Accurately preparing the financial element of bids and producing estimates on appropriate schemes to the right net cost in a timely manner. The ultimate goal is to deliver profitable, de-risked, winning bids on time and to the highest quality, providing estimating services on projects and strategic & contract changes.

The Senior Estimator would be working on Residential and Commercial Projects from £20m up to £200m+.

Duties

  • Working on Commercial and Residential Projects out fo their office in Hertfordshire.
  • Can demonstrate commercial awareness and a strong understanding / have a willingness to learn all elements of the construction process
  • Able to create and follow clearly set-out processes
  • Methodical, analytical and organised with an attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Personable and effective team player
  • Open to feedback with a willingness to learn and improve.

Requirements

  • A Senior Estimator who has experience working for a UK Main Contractor.
  • New Build experience
  • Someone has the ambitions to progress
