Have you got a passion for sales? Do you like speaking to new people and building up rapport? This could be the role for you! We are looking for a graduate Business development executive to gain new business in and around St Albans for a business that specialises in market research and consumer attitudes and behaviour. We are looking for someone who has exceptional levels of drive, determination, and commercial flair to join our growing sales team.

The role comes with a fantastic four-year development plan, which has step by step guide on how you can climb the ladder to the very top of the business.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Identifying new business opportunities by presenting the value of the companies offerings (both syndicated and consulting) to prospective clients
  • Understanding the clients' business information needs across a range of business functions, including competitive intelligence, product marketing and market research
  • Managing the initial process of cold calling to booking in a demo for a senior to take over
  • Generating a pipeline of 5-8 demos booked weekly
  • Exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Collaborating with the research team to identify new sales campaign messaging
  • Providing input on new product development projects ('voice of the customer')
  • Building great rapport and valuable working relationships within the industry and potential clients
